Ghanaian teenager Opoku Antwi has terminated his contract with Tunisian side Club Africain after accusing the club of looking down on black-skinned players.
The former Great Olympics and Bofoakwa Tano midfielder joined the Red and Whites a season ago but has struggled for playing time.
He told GHANAsoccernet.com "Club Africain do not like black players at all. I always play better when even I come on as a substitute, I think the fans liked me very much, but the coach told me I can't play while real Tunisians are on the bench. For this reason, I have to quit the club.''
Antwi has joined CS Sfaxien who lie third on the Tunisian league table on a one-year deal.
"My brother once played here so the reception was very marvelous, I think I can stay here for long," he concluded.
Opoku is the younger brother of Black Stars and Al Sadd winger Opoku Agyeman.
