Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena was sent off during Liefering's 2-1 victory St. Polten in the Austrian second-tier league on Friday evening.

The 19-year-old had replaced German starlet Smail Prevljak in the 72nd minute but had his marching orders ten minutes after applying a very harsh tackle on a Polten midfielder.

Dwamena will miss all two of Liefering's league games due to suspension which will come with the red card.

He joined Liefering two seasons ago and is hoping to break into their senior team - Red Bull Salzburg in the Austria Bundesliga.

Ghana U20 goalkeeper Lawrence At-Zigi conspicuously missed out of the Liefering squad for the game.
