Ghanaian youth Osei excels in Marseille friendly draw

French-born Ghanaian young midfielder, Kevin Osei, came off the bench to play a part in Olympique Marseille's 1-1 drawn warm-up game with Ligue 2 side Istres on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old came off the bench at the start of the second stanza to replace Loic Remy and hugely impressed Marseille boss Elie Baup.

Osei has been confirmed in the Olympians' first team squad for the season but he is yet to make an appearance.

He was initially included in the 2011 Ghana U-20 team but was dropped from the finals because of documentation issues.

Compatriot Jordan Ayew started the game for Marseille before being replaced later in the second half.
