Ghanaian youth international Gideon Jung put up one of his best performances of the season so far for Hamburg SV as they posted a 3-1 away victory over Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 21-year-old held down his place in Bruno Labbadia's starting line-up and played full throttle at the Weserstadion.

Jung employed his extraordinary precocity in the middle to win most of the midfield tussles for Hamburg as the Dinosaurs cruised to a second successive league win.

Hamburg boss had praised the sensational youngster after his performance against Borussia Dortmund and handed him a starting role in the game.

Jung's impressive performance is yet to catch the eye of Black Stars head coach Avram Grant as the Israeli gaffer is yet to consider him for a call-up.

Though he has dodged an invitation to play for Germany at U21 level, Ghana is yet to officially make an approach for the young midfielder.
