Ghanasoccernet.com picks Ghanaian star performers abroad after monitoring how they fared over the weekend.

FORMATION: 3-5-2

Adam Kwarasey - Stromsgodset

The Black Stars first choice goalkeeper played a vital role in ensuring Stromsgodset secured a much-needed point at Valerenga in an away fixture. Kwarasey made a string of superb saves to add to his credentials as a world class shot-stopper.

David Addy - Vitória Guimarães

Addy, on his first season at Guimarães, helped secure his club's second win of the season and move closer to European spot. The former FC Porto man proved a constant threat going forward and, although his side conceded one goal, Addy can't be held accountable.

John Boye - Stade Rennes

The Stade Auguste-Bonal appeared an unfavourable grounds for Rennes to achieve acceptable results after Sochaux dropped points against PSG last weekend but John Boye marshalled his Rennes defence and halted Cedric Bakambu and the Sochaux strikeforce. Rennes won 1-0.

Jonathan Mensah - Evian TG

Mensah was the man to make the champions' fall and fail to deliver. He was a huge and towering figure at the back to stop them in their tracks as Evian won 3-2 against Montpellier at their own backyard.

Rahim Ayew - Lierse SK

The 24-year-old emerged the Man-of-the-Match in SK Lierse’s fight-back to draw 2-2 at Lokeren on Saturday.

Mubarak Wakaso - Espanyol

Wakaso was a real handful, his pace and physique was no match for the Real Valladolid defence during the 83 minutes he lasted the on the pitch.

Kwadwo Asamoah -  Juventus

The former Udinese playmaker was influential for Juventus in their 2-1 win over Siena. He came off the bench and helped the champions to pile a sustained pressure until Claudio Marchisio scored the much-needed winner in the 85th minute.

Rabiu Mohammed - Evian TG

Rabiu has fitted in well with Evian's style of play following his improved form for the Ligue side. Though he came off the bench to play just 32 minutes of his side's 3-2 win over title holders Montpellier, the former Ghana U20 star was pivotal in the middle and his contributions were key for Evian.

Andre Ayew - Marseille

Andre was one of Marseille's stand-out players in the derby clash against money-bags PSG. He set up Andre-Pierre Gignac for the opening goal in the 17th minute.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom - Sassuolo

The Juventus loanee scored all two goals for Sassuolo in their 2-1 crucial win over Grosseto. It was the 19-year-old's second goal in a two weeks running.
