Ghanaians Rashid Sumaila and Fatau Dauda will be reunited after Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn against Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup on Thursday.

Sumaila is more likely to feature for the Brazilians in the quarter final clash than his Black Stars teammate who has been struggling for regular games this season.

The ex Asante Kotoko loanee has regained his regular place under Pitso Mosimane after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Dauda on the other hand is yet to get a favourable look-in at Pirates where he has made just two league appearances since his arrival at the beginning of the season.

The fixture between Sundowns and Pirates was the first to be drawn, before defending champions Kaizer Chiefs were pitted at home to face SuperSport United.

Matatsantsa will be hoping to have Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyimah back from injury by the time they take on the PSL leaders on the weekend of April 12 and 13.

Elsewhere, Ghanaian trio Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi, Awal Mohammed and Yakubu Mohammed will be looking to inspire Maritzburg United into the semi finals when they take on African Warriors.
