Ghana's 2010 World Cup team swings into action

Ghana will begin their proper 2010 World Cup training on Monday morning after arriving in Rotterdam for the Tuesday's friendly against Holland.

This comes after the final list of 23 players required by Fifa for the tournament in South Africa was released, with some experienced players losing their places in the team.

This means Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac has ended his observation of the players and has quickly switched to tactics.

The Black Stars coach will use his time with the team to rehearse his tactics for the tournament and also see how the players will fit in their positions.

Rajevac is expected to deploy the attacking duo of Asamoah Gyan and Prince Tagoe in a game with the latter also getting some playing time on the wings.

With Michael Essien already out of the competition, the Serbian has hinted that he will switch his strategy to favour the current players in camp.
