Ghana's 2014 World Cup campaign in danger after Zambia win protest

The Black Stars might miss out on qualification to the 2014 FIFA World Cup
Ghana’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification is in danger after Group D opponents Zambia were awarded three points by FIFA.
The Chipolopolo are also three goals richer after wining a protest against Sudan who fielded an unqualified player in their opening qualifier.
Sudan won the encounter 2-0 in Khartoum in June this year.
FIFA’s disciplinary committee ruled that Saif Ali, who scored one of the goals, should not have played after receiving yellow cards in previous competitive matches.
Sudan were denied the points and the country’s Football Association fined US$6,430.
Group Standings
Zambia have now moved to the summit of the Group with six points; three more than second place Ghana.
The Black Stars were beaten 1-0 in Ndola by the African champions also in June.

Plavi lost to Zambia and Mali with better players than Kwesi Appiah has had at his disposal. Kwesi Appaih has rebuilt the team after Plavi messed it up! Give Kwesi Appiah time and I guarantee we will win the next African cup!! The last thing we need is to start acting like fools changing coaches like coats! There is something wrong with FIFA awarding Zambia 3 points, there is no wisdom in this decision. I can understand taking 3 points from Sudan but why give those points to Zambia? Did they win the game? All they did was win the protest. If Zambia is rewarded with points then Ghana and Lesotho should also get 3 points. Why should Ghana and Lesotho suffer because Sudan cheated and Zambia be rewarded with 3 points just because they won a protest? My reason is that Zambia did not win that game. The best resolution should have been just take the points from Sudan and punish them for cheating but give Zambia zero points.
The Ghana and Lesotho FA’s must jointly file a protest against FIFA’s resolution because it is unfair it unduly rewards Zambia with 3 points they have not earned.
If this result is allowed to stand it will create a precedent where countries can connive to cheat and help each other qualify by intentionally using ineligible players to knock out more deserving teams. Who is in charge of monitoring the ineligible players? Is it FIFA or the CAF? Is it the Sudan FA? Someone dropped the ball and Ghana and Lesotho should not be made to pay the price.
