Ghana's ambassador to Algeria, Nana Kwasi Arhin has tasked the national under-20 team, the Black Satellites to beat their Algerian counterparts ahead of the Africa Youth Championship qualifiers on Friday.

The Black Satellites will face the young "Desert Warriors" on Friday in the first leg of the penultimate stage of the qualifiers.

The team arrived in Algiers on Wednesday and were met by the ambassador, who was full of motivation for the side as he charged the team to success on Friday.

"I have been here for only about six months but so far I think I have hosted Aduana Stars and the second contingent is the under-20," Nana Kwasi Arhin said on the arrival of the team.

"I believe since we are here we are representing Ghana and nobody else and we should always know that we have a proud country, I'm talking to the players now," he added.

"We have a proud country, we don't have any other option apart from success. The other option is failure and nobody wants failure so we should strive beyond our utmost best to be successful."

Nana Kwasi Arhin told the players he has already spoken highly of them amongst his colleague ambassadors and would not want to be disappointed on the day. According to the politician he is overly optimistic of success on Friday.

"I wouldn't want to be the source of mockery among my colleagues who I have told i am going to win. Today, I was at a reception and they were all asking me, has your team arrived? I said yes. Are you going to win? I said yes."
