Ghana's boys U15 to play in international tourney in South Korea in August

Ghana’s Under-15 team will participate in an annual invitational tournament in South Korea next month.

The players, who have been picked from the Airtel Rising Stars, will take part in the tournament between August 28-29.

Veteran coach Emmanuel Afranie will take charge of the side ahead of the tournament which is meant to give the youngsters the international exposure needed to excel to at the top level.

“The Committee has decided that Coach E.K Afrani will lead the Under-15 team to the South Korea invitational Tournament which will be played between 28-29th August this year” Ghana Football Juvenile Committee Chairman, George Afriyie confirmed.

“The players will come from young talents selected from the Airtel Rising Star Competition. Even though it will be the first of its kind for Ghana, I have every confidence that we will put up the desired performances to showcase our young talents which we will count on for the future of Ghana football.
