Ghana’s CHAN opponents Ethiopia have named a provisional squad of 27 players for the tournament to be held in South Africa next month.

Head coach Sewnet Bishaw excluded goalkeeper Sisay Bancha and defender Abebaw Butako after they fought in November this year during the 2014 World Cup finals playoff against Nigeria in Calabar.

Perennial champions St George dominate the squad with eight players including skipper Degu Debebe.

Ethiopia will face Ghana on 21 January in the final Group C match after playing Libya and Congo.
