Ghana's CHAN squad leaves for Kenya tour

Ghana's home-based national team will leave for Kenya tonight (Thursday) for their pre-CHAN tournament training camp.

The 23-man squad will be based in Nairobi for 12 days before emplaning for their base in Mandany.

The local Black Stars play South Africa in their Group B opener on 5 February before engaging Zimbabwe and Niger.

Ghana won silver at the 2009 edition of the African Nations Championship in Ivory Coast.

The second edition of the CHAN tournament will run from February 4-25.
