Ghana's Pantsil hopeful of World Cup

Fulham fullback John Pantsil admits he can't believe his luck after helping the club reach the Europa League final.

The Ghana international is set to play in the final just weeks before he takes part in the Black Stars' World Cup campaign.

“I was worried because I missed the African Nations Cup in January and I thought I might miss the World Cup too,” he admitted.

“So I’m so happy to be here at the moment and taking part in nights like this.

“The past few months were a bit frustrating, but credit to the boys for keeping it going.

"Of course, I wished I could play in the games with the other players and in front of the fans, so it’s so great to be here now.”
