Ghana’s Razak Brimah has completed a return to Cordoba CF as the first choice goalkeeper for their first team, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 28-year-old will be returning to the first team of the Spanish second tier side having impressed during the period he was away from the club where he used to play for the reserve team.

Brimah rejoins his former team as a free agent on a two-year contract.

This was after he terminated his contract with Mirandes where he was integral to the side's failed bid to qualify to La Liga.

The formeer FC Nania goalkeeper will be replacing Mikel Saizar who has left to join Cypriot club AEK Larnaca.

Brimah has played out most of his professional career in the lower divisions in Spain where he has featured for nine different sides including Real Betis, Tenerife and Guadalajara.

He played for the reserve team of Cordoba in the 2013/14 season but later left to join Mirandes in search of regular first team action.

It was based on his exploits with Mirandes that he was selected to be the first choice of the Black Stars for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana eventually lost out in the finals to Ivory Coast on penalties.
