Ghana's U20 women's team continued their impressive preparation with a 3-1 win over Burlington Bayhawks U21 in a friendly in Canada on Saturday.

Hundreds of local fans of the beautiful game turned out to take in the friendly with  the visiting Ghana U20 women’s soccer team.

The Black Princesses are preparing  for the upcoming U20 FIFA World Cup and the Bayhawks are coming off their recent Ontario Cup win.

Despite a last minute change in venue from the scheduled City View Park in west Burlington, a good crowd of several hundred made their way to Norton Community Park in Alton Village to take in the match.

The Ghana U20 women’s team went on to defeat the Bayhawks 3-1.

Ghana kicks off their FIFA U20 group A play in Toronto, taking on Canada at the National Soccer Stadium on Tuesday August 5th at 8p.m.
