Ghana's vice-presidential candidate Dr Bawumia reveals support for Wa All Stars

Vice-president candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed his admiration for Wa All Stars.

The former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana says he has shifted his focus to the high-flying team following the demotion of Real Tamale United.

All Stars are flying in the Ghanaian top-flight after recording two wins in their opening two games.

They hammered Hasaacas 3-0 and followed it up with a crucial 1-0 win at Aduana Stars last weekend to move up on the table.

And the renowned economist has thrown his support behind the Wa-based side to clinch the title.

“It’s just a shame that Real Tamale United (RTU) is not in the premiership, I have moved to support Wa All Stars."he said
