Latif Blessing was the star of the week 22 of the Ghana Premier League.The exciting winger who has been surprisingly quite in the 2nd round of the league hit the headlines with a hattrick at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf helping Liberty Professionals to thump Hasaacas 4-0.
The dribbling wizard scored 10 in the first round of league but had failed to hit the back of the net in the 2nd round till Hasmal's visit to Dansoman.
The hattrick sends him top of the League Scorers Chart with 13 goals.
Felix Addo got the other goal for the Scientific Soccer Lads. The Theatre Of Dreams, Dawu Park also witnessed a 4-0 thumping when Berekum Chelsea visited Dreams FC.
Abeiku Ainooson gave the home side the lead in the 14th minute from a spot kick.
Emmanuel Hayford doubled the lead with a trade mark freekick before Sarpong made it 3-0 at half time.
Back from recess Emmanuel Eli Keke made it a day to forget for the Blues with the 4th of the day.
The win has moved the league debutantes 3rd on the table. League leaders Accra Hearts Of Oaks played out a one all draw against defending champions Ashanti Gold.
Ivorian national Robin Gnagne opened the scores for the Phobia in the 30th minute via a spot kick but Sergio Traguil's charges couldn't hold on allowing Anthony Yerful to equalise for Ashanti Gold in the 40th minute.
The draw was enough for Hearts to stretch their lead on top by additional one point with 2nd placed Allstars suffering a 2-0 defeat in Tema.
In Cape Coast, Bright Lukman's goal in the first half was all Dwarfs needed to defeat WAFA. The goal is the striker's 6 from 7 starts.
Bechem United came out at victors in their all Bono&Ahafo duel against Techiman City. Abednego Tetteh and Yaw Anorl got the two goals.
Asante Kotoko suffered yet another defeat in the hands of New Edubiase United. The 'Yenko nkoa' boys defeated the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 at the Nana Gyamfi Park making it a double victory over the Reds in this season's league.
Toufik Mohammed did put the home side in front in the 17th minute. Amos Frimpong got an equaliser for Kotoko only for Nasir Lamin to win it for New Edubiase. Despite the win, they are still languishing at the bottom of the league log.
The game between Medeama SC and Aduana Stars will be played at later date because of the latter's participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.
