GHPL WRAP: Emmanuel Ocran's hat-trick moves Wa All stars closer to historic title triumph
Emmanuel Ocran, mobbed, scored twice for All Stars

Striker Emmanuel Ocran scored all three goals for Wa All Stars in their 3-1 victory over Dreams FC.

The win moves the Pride of the Wa based club closer to their first ever trophy in their history.

No matter the results in the other two of the three games left, a win for Coach Enos Adepa's side against 2nd placed Aduana Stars on the 14th of September in Wa will clinch the league title for the Upper West club.

Aduana Stars kept themselves in the title race with a hard fought draw away to WAFA.

The Dormaa lads took the lead in the first half through Bright Adjei but could not hold on to it in the second half allowing Komlana Agbegniedan to grab an equalizer for WAFA.

They face Techiman City next and then the title decider away to All stars.

Hearts of Oaks title dream was shuttered by a hat-trick from Abednego Tetteh in Bechem. The striker heeded to his promise, scoring against Hearts in a perfect way. The hat-trick sends his goal tally to 12.

The win has almost secured Bechem United another season in the elite division aside ending Hearts' title dream.

Another club whose title hope suffered a setback is Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors once again failed to score a goal at the Baba Yara Stadium.

To be fair to Kotoko, they bossed the game from start to finish but John Mossi in post for Berekum Chelsea was at his heroic best.

The one point earned will do the blue half of Berekum good in their battle for survival.

Ashanti Gold defeated Sekondi Hasaacas by a lone goal scored by Emmanuel Osei Baffour in the 6th minute.

Shafiu Mumuni had the chance to double their lead from the spot but his kick couldn't find the back of the net.

Dwarfs lost once again at home. The Crabs dominated Medeama SC in the first half but failed to make the dominance count. They even missed a penalty.

Back from recess Enoch Atta Adjei made them rue their missed chances by netting a brace for Medeama SC.

The back to back defeats bring Dwarfs back in the relegation battle.

Inter Allies condemned New Edubiase to relegation with a 4-0 thumping.

Emmanuel Nertey, Ropapa Kwabena Mensah and Prince Baffoe (2) got the goals for the Harbour City club. The 3 points had given them a little hope for survival.

Techiman City threw away 1-0 lead against Liberty Professionals. The Real Citizens needed a win badly to aid their quest of survival but once again failed to make their home advantage count.

Abdul Rahman Fataw scored for the home side. Liberty's equalizer was fetched by Issah Mohammed.
