Asante Kotoko are close to signing all their targeted players ahead of their participation in next seasonââ¬â¢s Caf Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors clinched a historic 22nd League title despite drawing blank against Berekum Arsenal in the Ghanaââ¬â¢s top flight on Sunday.
The feat by the Ghanaian giant will mean an entry to participate in Africaââ¬â¢s elite inter-club competition next season after a six-year absence.
A number of high profile players have been linked with the Kumasi-based side as head coach Maxwell Konadu attempt to build a formidable squad capable of winning the ultimate.
ââ¬ÅWe have agreed with all the players that we want to sign for next season. Weââ¬â¢re close to 80% in finishing the final terms of the contract,â⬠Public and Supporters Relations Manager, Listowell Yesu Bukarson said.
ââ¬ÅWeââ¬â¢re very much on tract and ensure that we are ahead of time in terms of planning. We are a very professionals club and so we donââ¬â¢t want to wait and be caught pant down.

Three Mighty Jets players including impressive fleet-footed Ben Eli Agbeko have been linked with the club with New Edubiaseââ¬â¢s Asiedu Atobrah and the leading marksman Emmanuel Baffour believed to be on the radar of Kotoko.
