Gideon Baah wants to win titles with Kotoko

By Patrick Akoto

Defender Gideon Baah wants to win the Caf Champions League with Kotoko before he exits the club.

The 20-year signed a two-year contract extension at the club after playing a cameo role in their  league success last season.

The former Sporting Mirren captain is anxious to win silverwares for the Porcupine Warriors with the Caf Champions League trophy etched on his mind.

“I love Kotoko and it was not a diffult decision thing (contract extension) for me at all when they offered me the contract as they have helped me a lot and I could not turn my back on them,”Baah told 90 Minutes

“I want to win more with Kotoko and that was the reason why I extended my contract,”

“My dream is to win the Caf Champions League in addition to next season’s league and that’s one of the reasons why I signed,”

“I know it will be difficult but with proper preparation, the team can definitely make it to the top with the kind of players coming in this season,”

“To play in the Caf Champions League and participate in the domestic competitions wouldn’t be an easy task, but for me, I want to win the most important trophies for this wonderful club and pray we make it happen to make our fans happy.”

Kotoko last played in the Caf Champions League in 2006.
