Gilbert Koomson continues fine scoring form in Norway
Gilbert Koomson scored for Sogndal

Ghanaian midfielder scored from the spot to propel Sogndal IF to victory over Lillestrom in the Norwegian top-flight on Sunday.

 The former Ghana U17 midfielder stepped up and converted a penalty kick to put the visitors 1-0 ahead in the 65th minute.

Sogndal were piling the pressure on the bottom club and it yielded results when they earned a penalty.

The 22-year-old elected him and fired home for his second goal in two straight games and third league goal of the campaign.

While he was in action attacker Mahatma Otoo was unused by the winners while former Ghana defender Francis Dickoh warmed the bench for Lillestrom.
