Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is set to sign a one-year contract extension at the club, less than a month after ending his 14-year association with the club.
The 28-year-old decided against renewing his contract with the former Premier League champions.
But he has reportedly backtracked after failing to earn a contract abroad with reports suggesting he will sign a 12-month deal with the miners.
Dauda, signed a one-year deal with the miners on returning from South African side Orlando Pirates.
The former Chippa United shot-stopper, who has 25 caps, has recently been overlooked by Black Stars coach Avram Grant.
