Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda will welcome a move away from the club this season.

The experienced shot-stopper is still under contract at the Obuasi-based side but keen on a new challenge after seven years at the club.

Dauda was in-between the sticks when the  miners lost the finals of this year’s Ghana MTN FA Cup against New Edubiase and he reckons it may be time for him to look elsewhere.

“It is football and you knew know what will happen. At the moment I am contracted to Ashantigold but let wait and see how the future goes,” Dauda said

“I believe if any club wants me, they must first talk to my club and if they agree and I am also comfortable with the club, I will move,”

“But in the meantime, I just have to wait in the wings and see how things will go. However I am not in a rush but will move for the right offer.”

The 27-year-old ex-Okwahu United glovesman is contracted to the club till 2013.
