Godwin Attram: "I've resigned, but Olympics have refused to accept my letter"

Godwin Attram says management of Great Olympics have failed to accept his resignation letter.

Attram, who commenced the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign as coach-cum-player of the Dade Boys, was relieved off his as head coach and demoted to deputy role as results were not forthcoming.

However, the former PSV playmaker blatantly refused the offer and hinted he would depart the club should management go on and appoint Tom Strand, which they eventually did.

And speaking to sportsobama.com, Attram disclosed that he has forwarded his resignation letter to the club's hierachy but they are refusing to accept his decision.

“I sent my resignation letter to the board but they didn’t collect it."

“And the president told me that he’s traveling so when he comes back he will have a meeting with me,” he added

Olympics are 15th on the log with just 19 points after 19 games and will hope to better that record when they travel to second placed side Aduana Stars in week 20 on Wednesday.
