Great Olympics coach Godwin Attram has categorically stated that he will resign if the club hire Tom Strand.

Attram, who doubles as a player, says he cannot work as deputy to the 2015 MTN FA Cup winner.

Strand has been waiting in the wings to takeover the club who lie 14th on the league table.

Olympics' plight compounded on Monday when they lost 2-1 at home to Aduana Stars in an outstanding league match.

''I cannot work with Tom Strand, if I will have to work with him, then I will resign from club both as a coach and player as well, I have communicated my decision to management if they should go ahead with the appointment of Strand as head coach,'' Attram said in a post-match interview.

''I believe in what am doing for the club, I’ve learnt from top coaches during my professional career and numerous coaches on the local scene have also been helpful to my course.

''I entreat management to be supportive to my course and hopefully things will get better for Olympics.''
