Bibiani Gold Stars striker Elvis Opoku leads the scorers chart in the MTN Ghana FA Cup with seven goals.Â
In their preliminary round qualifier, he netted a brace each against Wassaman and Hearts of Oak in their first two matches.
Opoku scored a hat-trick last Sunday in their 5-2 routing of Kotoku Royals.
“ I thank God for the blessings and also the management of Gold Stars for their support,†Opoku told Graphic Sports.
Opoku was a member of Ghana’s U17 team which failed to qualify for the 2009 African Junior Championship.
The draw for the round of 16 matches will take place at the Ghana FA secretariat on Thursday.
