Great Olympics captain Godwin Attram has slammed his teammates for not observing discipline on the field of play to lose to Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.

The relegation woes of the Wonder Club were compounded with Kotoko scoring late to clinch all three points in the midweek Premier League match.

Olympics were hopeful of securing a famous win over the champions who were yet to collect a point at the start of the second half of the season.

They were however in the end left brooding over what could have been a memorable meeting against their former player and coach David Duncan.

But Godwin Attram has blamed the defeat on his colleague players, saying they failed to adhere to the tactics of the coach.

“We lost to Kotoko because of players indiscipline on the field of play,” the experienced forward noted after the match.

“If the coach gives a player specific instruction and the player get onto the pitch to do something different it will go against the team and that cost us in losing the game.”
