Board member of Great Olympics Fred Pappoe is confident the side can avoid the drop this season.

The Wonder Club are deeply rooted in the relegation zone after a difficult campaign on their return to their domestic top-flight.

The Accra-based side lost 3-2 at home to champions Kotoko to worsen their plight but board member Fred Pappoe insists they will maintain their top-flight status.

“It’s pretty difficult at the moment but I’m confident we’ll overcome the storm,” he said

“There are number of things we must look at going forward. There are more matches to play and if you look at the point difference, it’s not much.

“I have no doubt in my mind that Olympics will be playing top-flight football next season.

The side travel to Wa where they face All Stars in their next game on Sunday.
