Board member of Great Olympics H.E Amarkai Amarteifio has insisted their role in hold up to the start of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League is not in the interest of the club alone and called on Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko to join their crusade against the Ghana Football Association.

Great Olympics are locked in a legal tussle with the nation's football governing body which has culminated in the delay to the start of the 2017/18 Ghana league season.

And during an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, H.E Amarteifio, who is a core member of the Wonder Club's legal team, entreated the two most glamorous clubs in the country, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, to come on board as they seek to bring sanity into the football system.

"Olympics is at a lost, it's not our wish to go to court,we only went to court so the FA will implement their own laws, I'm surprised this is happening. Complying with your own regulations has been a problem? I believe the governing body of the GFA should be sacked, they have no business being there," he told Oyerepa FM.

"We are prepared to fight this battle, we are ready to do whatever it will take for us to get justice. Our friends (the clubs) should not be on lookers, this fight is not all about Olympics only but all other clubs especially Hearts and Kotoko, the fight is in the interest of all and is about fairness."
