Great Olympics chief Fred Pappoe says the club is ‘close’ to bringing new faces to the club ahead of the start of the new season.

A three-year deal for Medeama goalkeeper Joseph Halm is the only business that has taken place in the club’s boardroom, with fans frustrated at a lack of transfers at the Accra-based side.

But Chief Executive Fred Pappoe has revealed they are close to finalizing deals for their new players.

“It will not be fair to mention names because the next minute it will draw attention of other clubs,” he said

“But we have concluded deals for at least two players and hoping to finalize deals for other players in the coming days.”

Former Ghana defenders Dan Quaye and Issah Ahmed are believed to be closing in on a move to the Wonder Club.

Olympics are staging a return to the Ghanaian top-tier after a three-year spell in the country’s second-tier.
