Great Olympics coach vows to secure Ghana Premier League qualification

Published on: 14 April 2014

Great Olympics coach Samuel Quaye has promised to qualify the Wonder Club to the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Quaye gave this assurance when the management of the team and the playing body paid a courtesy call on the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Adama Latse II, at the Ga mantse palace in Kaneshie.

Olympics will contest Istanbul FC, Okwahu United and Tema Youth for the single qualification spot in the Division One League zone III playoffs.

"The entire playing body and management of Accra Great Olympics have prepared well for the middle league, and I can assure everybody that the club will be back into the premiership where it belongs," Quaye said.

The Board Chairman of the club, Eric Nii Afotey, also assured the Ga Mantse of the team's return to the premier league, and attributed his conviction to the level of preparations put up by the club.

The capitain of the club, George Brako, reiterated the commitment of the players and technical team to return to the elite division, and thanked the Ga Mantse for hosting them.

He said the playing body would not disappoint the chiefs and people of the Ga State
