Great Olympics experienced duo Dan Quaye and Richard Kingson missed Wednesday's Ghana Premier League against Asante Kotoko due to malaria.

The wonder club were beaten 3-2 defeat at home by the defending champions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Quaye, a defender and goalkeeper Richard Kingson have impressed heavily since they re-joined their boyhood club after stints abroad.

They have been instrumental in the side’s resurgence despite being locked up in the relegation drop zone.

“Dan Quaye and Richard are down with malaria and that’s why they did not feature in the game against Kotoko,” assistant coach Kassim Mingle confirmed.

“Hopefully they will recover in time for our subsequent games.”

The Wonder Club travel to Wa to face All Stars on Sunday.
