Ghana and Panathinaikos midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has called for support for the Black Stars as they gear up to play against Rwanda on Saturday.
The former Celtic midfielder was among the first batch of players who arrived in Ghana for their final AFCON qualifier against Rwanda.
Having been instrumental in the qualification series the 26-year-old is hoping that the team will continue to enjoy the unrelenting support of Ghanaians.
“You can see that we are all very focused and determined to do the job,” Wakaso told the press after the team’s first training session
“All we want is for the nation to support us so we deliver for them against Rwanda.”
“We want to maintain our momentum and continue our preparations for the World Cup Qualifier.”
Ghana lead Group H with 13 points with Rwanda and Mauritius in a distance second with 6 points.
