Greek side AEL Larissa part ways with Ghanaian defender Owusu-Ansah Kontor

Greek Super League side AE Larissa have canceled the contract of Ghanaian defender Owusu-Ansah Kontor.

The 23-year-old has been told to look elsewhere after failing to impress in his second season at the club.

The former Kotoko youth left-back enjoyed a stellar debut campaign in 2016 where he made 23 appearances for the side but is yet to kick a ball this term - leading to the decision to dispense with his services.

Footballmadeinghana reports the two parties parted ways on Wednesday.

Kontor joined Serbian side Metalac Gornji Milanovac in 2011 from Kotoko.

A short stint with Novi Pazar in the winter followed before his move to The Crimsons in the summer transfer window.
