Coach Goran Stevanovic is adamant Asamoah Gyan is fit enough to lead the lines for Ghana in the opening Group D game against Botswana.
The Al Ain striker has just recovered from a hamstring but there are fears he is not match fit and is being rushed to start against the Zebras on Tuesday.
However Stevanovic who has been entrusted with Ghanaââ¬â¢s charge to end a 30-year wait for an African title insists his leading marksman is good to go.
ââ¬ÅYes he is ready. Gyan is very important for us. He needed to rest for four weeks but he stayed out for 10 to 12 days.
ââ¬ÅHe has recovered very soon and I think he is ready for a start.ââ¬
