Halifa-Mohamed Soule : Comoros will not be intimidated against Ghana

Comoros striker Halifa-Mohammed Soule has exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com his country will not press the panic button ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier against mighty Ghana on Friday.

Mohammed Soule, who plays for French lower tie side Béziers, insists Les Coelecantes are primed to produce one of the greatest football upsets when they clash with the Black Stars in Moroni.

The tiny South Eastern African country faces a daunting task against the four-time African champions with the odds hugely stacked against them.

But Comoros striker Halifa-Mohammed Soule has thrown down the gauntlet, by insisting they are mentally prepared for the game against the West Africans.

“We have been preparing for this game and we’re ready for Ghana. We know they are a powerful football nation but we’re not intimidated at all,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Ghana is a great nation and we know their pedigree but we’re not under any pressure at all.

“Football is full of uncertainties. We know it’s going to be difficult, but anything is possible.

“We have a chance against Ghana and we must keep believing that we can beat them. If we beat Ghana, that will be big news but if the reverse happens, it will be viewed as no news.

“And we want to make news and be heard globally.”

The tiny nation has been brought alive following the arrival of the Black Stars in Moroni.

The Ghanaians held their last training session on Thursday ahead of the game on Friday.
