Former Ghana World Cup star Haminu Dramani will come face to face with Black Stars attacker David Accam in the US Open Cup on June 30 in Lamar Hunt.

The Fire advanced to the Round of 16 after narrowly beating Louisville City FC 1-0 thanks to a Quincy Amarikwa extra-time goal on Tuesday evening at Toyota Park while the Independence advanced courtesy of a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution Wednesday.

Neither Accam nor Dramani was involved in the game for Fire and Independence respectively as they advanced to the stage.

Though Accam is currently out with a slight leg injury he could return to play for Fire in the game.

Dramani will be hoping to gatecrash the Independence squad for the crucial tie as they look set to cause another upset after toppling a Major League Soccer side on their way to reaching the current stage.

The former Kpando Heart of Lions attacker who shone for Ghana at the 2006 FIFA World Cup signed for the American third-tier side two months ago as a free agent.
