Defender Joseph Aidoo scored and was named the man-of-the-match for Swedish side Hammarby in their 3-2 defeat to HJ Helsinki on Tuesday.
The centre back found himself inside the box and headed in a cross from the right to double their lead.
But their Finnish opponents raced back strongly in the second half to score three goals.
