Hans Van der Plyum linked with Medeama

Dutchman Hans Van der Plyum could be on his way to take over as the head coach of Premier League side Medeama SC next season, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Current coach Bashir Hayford is out of contract at the end of the campaign and reports in the local media claim officials of the Tarkwa-based side will not renew his deal.

It is widely rumored club officials are on the verge of concluding personal terms with the coach for the takeover in the next soccer season.

Medeama currently lie 4th on the league table with five games remaining and are keen to earn a top-four finish.

Plyum has vast coaching experience in the country following stints with AshantiGold, Kessbben FC and also and also worked with renowned locally-based football academies Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord and Red Bull.
