The Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, has expressed his desire to sponsor all the 16 clubs competing in the Ghana Premier League.

The alcoholic beverage producers added Berekum Chelsea to the list of their clubs after signing a bumper one-year deal with the option to extend at the company's secretariat on Thursday.

The Nsawam-based firm already have Aduana Stars as well as the National Circles Council of Asante Kotoko on their cards, but they are looking to extend their assistance to other clubs in the country.

And speaking to reporters after inking the deal with the Blues, Mr. Borketey reiterated his determination to help the other 14 clubs in the division as they aim to make the league championship competitive and urged the club supporters to favour the product.

"If we get the opportunity to sponsor all the 16 clubs in the league we would gladly do it because we want our league to be competitive and exciting, so as the days goes by we are taking it one after the other," Mr. Borketey stated.

"We want Chelsea to win their matches in the coming league season. I would implore their supporters to patronize the Happy Man Bitters product so that we can raise funds to continue supporting the club because we have a percentage of revenue the company will give to the clubs every year hence patronizing the product means you're also helping to raise revenue for your club."

Charger Ghana Limited, who are producers of Happy Man Bitters, becomes the club’s third sponsor ahead of the new season after Soccabet and S.O Frimpong Transport Services.

The Blues will commence their 2017/18 Ghana Premier League campaign with a trip to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to engage Ebusua Dwarfs.
