Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has given hints of leaving the Kuwait Premier League for Europe after declaring his intention of winning the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League.

To him, winning any of these prestigious trophies is a lifetime dream and he is working towards achieving that.

“My major career objective is to win the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League.

“I know it will not come easy as I need to keep improving and with Allah’s blessing, I shall get there,” he told Metro TV.

The 23-year old however says he is still under contract at Al Qadsia and will only leave for Europe if his agent and club accept offers that come.

“… but I still have a contract with Al Qadsia. I can only leave if the club and my agent are satisfied with offers that come from Europe.

“As for winning any of the two prestigious trophies, it’s my lifetime dream.”
