Harrison Afful continued where he left off before the international break by aiding Esperance thumped Gabes 7-1 in their Tunisian Ligue1 on Sunday.

The versatile player provided the assist for the first goal scored by Oussama Darragi on the hour mark.

Chamseddine Dhaouadi doubled the lead three minutes later before Darragi made it 3-0 in the 36th minute.

Ahmed Akaichi made it 4-0 after ten minutes before Mohamed Cheikh Toure pulled one back on 50 minutes.

Akaichi scored his second in the 58th minute before Dhaouadi and Haythem Jouini scored two more.

Afful was substituted in the 70th minute due to fatigue after playing full throttle in two of Ghana’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
