Hasaacas slump into the relegation dog fight

Hasaacas captain Joe Agyemang has blamed the referee for his side’s 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The ‘Ozii Ozaa’ boys slumped into the relegation dogfight with the home defeat against the dethroned champions at the Essipong Stadium.

Fans of Hasaacas however feel hard done by the performance of referee J.A Amenyah especially after turning down a penalty shout late in the first half.

And captain Joe Agyemang says his colleagues felt intimidated by the numerous decisions of the referee on the day.

“I will attribute this defeat to the performance of the referee,” he said.

“From the blast of the whistle, he started frustrating us and it got worse as the game progressed.

“So this defeat is squarely the fault of the referee.”
