Hassan Mohammed wants RTU to buy players

By Patrick Akoto

Real Tamale United captain Hassan Mohammed wants management to get busy in the transfer market after guiding the team to the top flight.

The Tamale-based side notched their qualification to the elite division after winning all three games in their National Division One League play-offs.

The former Hearts of Oak stalwart defender wants the club to buy some experienced and quality players to strengthen the squad ahead of their campaign.

“Many people did not believe we could do it but we never stopped believing that we can do it,” Mohammed said

“It is imperative we bring in some experienced players who can help us make a meaningful impact in the league,”

“Even though I admire the determination of my colleagues, management as a matter of urgency should buy some quality players,”

“The Premier League is a different ball game and so we need players who are experienced to help our campaign.”

Real Tamale United were relegated to the lower division after a difficult campaign two seasons ago.
