Hearts of Oak U-20 head coach Stephen Abugri has praised the dedication and discipline of his team after they dispatched Dawtex FC 2-0 in the league.

Auroras started their latest campaign in the Greater Accra Regional Division 2 Zone 3 league with a 2-0 victory over Dawtex FC at the Legon Ajax Park on Sunday.

Enoch Addo and Daniel Nana Yeboah scored in either half to help Abugri’s side to victory on their return to the Division 2 league.

And head coach Abugri says his players are very dedicated, disciplined and determined for the season.

“It was a hard game, a very tough game because for so many years Auroras has not played in Division 2 and these our young talented boys [have won our first match] so far so good,” he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak

“But this is just the beginning - we are going home to correct our mistakes then patch the cracks so that we think of the next match.

“It was a good tactical game; the boys are dedicated, they are disciplined and determined because before you wear Hearts of Oak jersey, it means you are someone and your future is very bright. So that is why they came with the never-say-die [mentality].”
