Heart of Lions striker Isaac Osei will be undergoing a two-week trial at Dutch club SC Heerenveen.

The Dutch club are in a hunt for a new striker following the decision of Alex Finnbogason to leave the club just after emerging top scorer of the Eredivisie last term.

Officials and coaches of Heerenveen have watched video clips of Osae but want to have a closer look at him before taking the decision to sign him.

“As soon we heard that Alfred Finnbogason, the first striker of FC Heerenveen and top scorer of The Netherlands season 2013/2014 (29 goals), wanted to leave Heerenveen to continue his career in Spain, we offered video material and further information to the technical staff of the Dutch club,” the player’s management organization chief, Emmanuel Addo said.

“After one week we got a positive answer from FC Heerenveen. The same time though we had to be patient because we had to wait for a satisfactory transfer possibility for Finnbogason.

“Recently Finnbogason got his transfer to the Spanish premier-league club Real Sociedad.”
