Struggling Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with coach Paa Kwesi Fabin by mutual consent on Monday after disappointing results in the league.

The coach met club officials on Monday to discuss the recent poor results by the club and he was given an ultimatum to win their next game Arsenal.

But they disagreed on the ultimatum which paved the way for the two sides to agree that Fabin must step aside.

“Paa Kwesi Fabin has left Heart of Oak by mutual consent following a meeting this afternoon,” Hearts CEO Fred Crentsil told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The chaotic situation in Hearts comes in the wake of their shocking 1-0 defeat to Real Tamale United on Sunday in Accra.

Fabin supervised Hearts to their seventh defeat of the season to lowly-placed RTU that left them 11th on the table in the 16-team league.

Fabin took charge of the 20-time champions before the start of the season and led them to win the pre-season Top 4 tournament.

Meanwhile, Fabin’s assistant Tanko Shaibu has taken temporary charge of the team with youth team boss Anthony Allotey helping out.
