Hearts of Oak General Captain Thomas Abbey says the 1-1 draw with Inter Allies FC feels like a defeat but insists the team will be bitter enders for the title.

The Phobians dropped valuable points to stay three behind leaders Wa All Stars who beat New Edubiase 1-0 on the road.

But Abbey, who was captain on the day, is refusing to give up on winning this season's title.

"I can still feel the pain of Sunday's draw game with Inter Allies," he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak.

"We got a draw but it feels like we lost the match. We were all down and disappointed with result because we missed a good opportunity to close the gap on Wa AllStars.

"Though the pain of the game persists, we cannot worry too much because it is over. We have four games ahead of us and anything can happen in those games.

"We just have to continue fighting to the very end. Do what we have to do by winning our games and see what happens at the end."

He concluded: "We will continue to fight in every game and we want the fans to help us do that. I know they are down also; I know what they are going through, but we need to be united at this very time and fight to the last game."
