Hearts of Oak have approached former management member Ashford Tetteh-Oku as a consultant to help recover the transfer fee involved in the sale of Winful Cobbinah to Najran SC.

The Phobians have been unable to secure the reported $200,000 promised by the Saudi Arabian club for the purchase of the skillful forward last year.

Several attempts by Hearts to secure the amount from Najran SC have since proved futile, prompting the invitation of Offside Consult, a company owned by their former long-term administrative manager to lead a legal assault on the Saudi Arabian club.

The invitation of Ashford Tetteh-Oku who remains one of the most experienced administrators of football in Ghana gives Hearts a massive boost as they get set to launch yet another attempt to claim what is due them from Najran.

The Ghana Premier League Board’s Vice Chairman is expected to use his experience and wide range of contacts cultivated over the years to push Hearts’ case for fairness and equity to prevail.

Winful Cobbinah made a shocking transfer move from Hearts of Oak to the Saudi Arabian club somewhere last year having completed just a season with the Phobians.
