Hearts will order Mohammed Polo to stay away from media interviews following his tirade at referee JA Amenya during their Premier League thrashing at Liberty, according reports in the local media.

The Accra side is reported to have served Polo with a query to explain his post-match comment on the centre referee.

Polo has carved a niche of verbally attacking match officials with Fred Andoh and Seidu Bomison coming under his radar.

Officials of the former African champions are unhappy with the bad press and want to move quickly to put him (Polo) in order.

The iconic club figure has resorted to blaming referees for his side’s unflattering campaign in the Ghanaian top-tier.

The former Great Olympics trainer will be banned from granting post-match interviews after failing to hold his emotions in check on numerous occasions.
